January 2010: Visit from Guardia Costiera in Pantelleria

In January the Guardia Costiera visited one of our airplanes to make themselves familar with the doors and exits of an aircraft.

The Guardia Costiera is responsible for “Search and Rescue”  of airplanes which are ditching in case of an emergency.

Our crew was happy to show the airplane and answer questions.

We hope we will never need the assistance of the Guardia Costiera but it is good to know that they are prepared.
