June 2010: Avanti Air adds two ATR 42-500 to its fleet

As part of a fleet renewal Avanti Air in June introduced two ATR 42-500 to its fleet.

The aircrafts with registry D-BTTT and D-BSSS, both vintage 2000, have been purchased with Eurowings in Dortmund.

Both airplanes have a refurbished cabin with a 48Y configuration and are already painted in the Avanti Air livery.

Both ATR 42-500 will operate in the network of our customer Meridianafly S.p.A. in south Italy where two of our older ATR 42-300 (registration D-BCRP and D-BCRO) will be removed from flight operations. They will be dry leased to Helitrans AS/Trondheim.
